August 18, 2016

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project reopened a bridge in Susquehanna County.

The Route 267 bridge (JV-146) spanning Stone Street Creek reopened to traffic the afternoon of August, 17. The work was performed by RDV Construction.

The bridge is longer and wider than the one it replaced, and is expected to last over 100 years.

Replacing the bridge removes the crossing from PennDOT's structurally deficient list in Susquehanna County.
