Dunmore, PA – The scheduled completion of the bridge carrying on Route 11 (Main Street) over Salt Lick Creek in Milford Township, Susquehanna County, has been delayed to November. The bridge is currently under construction as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project and had previously been expected to be complete in early October.
Two lanes of traffic - one in each direction - will continue through the work zone until replacement work is complete in November. In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
This bridge is referred to as JV-144 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
