The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project continues in Bradford County with the reconstruction of a bridge in Albany Township. Replacing the bridge will allow PennDOT to remove it from Bradford County’s structurally deficient list.

The state-owned bridge (JV091) is located on Route 220 (Front Street), spanning South Branch Towanda Creek. Construction is expected to start during the week of August 1, 2016. During construction, drivers will encounter a temporary roadway while the new bridge is replaced. The work is expected to be complete in early November.

In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change. If any such changes do occur, information will be distributed in a press release and posted on the project website at www.parapidbridges.com/bridgeblog.
