Construction of the bridge on Route 957 over Little Brokenstraw Creek in Freehold Township, Warren County has been rescheduled, and is now expected to begin during the week of June 26.
Construction was previously scheduled to begin during the week of June 19.
The construction schedule now has work expected to begin during the week of June 26 and be complete in mid-November. During this time, one lane of the bridge will remain open, with an alternating traffic pattern controlled by temporary traffic signals.
In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
This bridge is referred to as JV-23 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
