Construction Postponed on Fulton County Bridge Project

The Route 522 (Great Cove Road) bridge in Fulton County that was planned to be replaced this summer has been postponed. A release with full details on the new construction timeline will be distributed prior to the start of construction.

The bridge (JV 329) is located on US 522 (Great Cove Road) over Palmer Run in Belfast Township. Once construction begins, traffic will be restricted to one-lane alternating in each direction, controlled by temporary signals.

The Great Cove Road Bridge is one of eight bridges to be replaced in Fulton County under the bridge reconstruction program.
