Construction
for the Route 166 (Hartley Hill Road) bridge, spanning Dunlap Creek in Redstone and Luzerne townships, Fayette County, has been postponed. It was previously scheduled to begin during the week of April 16.
Construction is now expected to begin during the week of April 30 and be complete in October. During this time, an alternating traffic pattern on Route 166 will be controlled by temporary traffic signals. During construction, Park Street will be closed. Drivers will be directed to follow a detour along Main Street, Dunlap Street, Redstone Street and Route 166 (Hartley Hill Road).
In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
This bridge is referred to as JV-483 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
