Construction for the Route 414 bridge, spanning a tributary to Towanda Creek in Franklin Township, has been postponed to 2017. It was previously scheduled to be replaced in October 2016 as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.
A release with full details on the new construction timeline will be distributed prior to the start of construction in 2017.
This bridge is referred to as JV-093 and is one of 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
