A construction project to replace the bridge that carries Route 267 over Wyalusing Creek in Forest Lake, Susquehanna County is scheduled to start on Tuesday, September 27, 2016.

The bridge will be built in two phases while maintaining traffic in a single lane.  During the project, each direction of traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals.  The work will be performed by Clearwater Construction.

Built in 1932, the bridge averages over 1,800 vehicles a day. Due to deterioration over time, the bridge is currently classified as structurally deficient.   The bridge is expected to be fully completed by the end of March in 2017.

The Route 267 bridge is designated on the website as JV-267. JV stands for joint venture.
