The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project continues in Lycoming County with the reconstruction of the State Route 118 bridge (JV 109) over Big Run in Franklin Township.

Construction is scheduled to begin the in mid-July as the bridge is rebuilt one-half at a time, with one-lane of traffic alternating in each direction, controlled by temporary signals. The work is expected to be complete by October 2016. In the event of unfavorable weather or other unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.

Located between Funston Road (State Route 2015) and Dark Hollow Road, the crossing averages 3,071 vehicles a day.
