The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project will soon begin in Blair County with the reconstruction of a bridge in July.

Construction for the Route 1013 (Kettle Road) bridge over Sinking Run (JV320) in Tyrone Township is scheduled to start during the week of July 25. During construction, drivers will be directed to use a detour route along Route 1008 (Hileman Road) and Route 1015 (Quarry Road). Final completion is expected to be in October. 

In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
