Construction to Begin on Route 772 Bridge in Warwick Township

Construction for the Route 772 (Rothsville Road) bridge, spanning Lititz Run in Warwick Township, Lancaster County, is scheduled to begin during the week of June 25 as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. 

When the bridge closes for full replacement, drivers will be directed to follow a detour along Route 501, Route 722 and Route 272. Construction the bridge will be complete in early September.

In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.  

This bridge is referred to as JV-261 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
