Construction for the Tollgate Road bridge, spanning South Branch of Conewago Creek in West Manheim Township, York County, is scheduled to begin during the week of February 19 as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. Tollgate Road is designated as State Route 3071. The project should be finished by May.

During the bridge closure, drivers will be directed to follow a detour along Route 94, Shorbs Hill Road, and Impounding Dam Road.

In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.

This bridge is referred to as JV-305 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
