The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project continues in Lycoming County in August with the reconstruction of a bridge in Fairfield Township. Replacing the bridge will allow PennDOT to remove it from Lycoming County’s structurally deficient list.
The state-owned bridge (JV108) is located on Route 87 (Loyalsock Avenue), spanning a tributary to Loyalsock Creek. Construction is expected to start in August and be complete in late September. During this time, drivers will encounter a temporary roadway while the new bridge is replaced.
In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
