The  Rapid Bridge Replacement Project continues in McKean County in August with the reconstruction of a bridge in Bradford Township. Replacing the bridge will allow PennDOT to remove it from McKean County’s structurally deficient list.

The state-owned bridge (JV068) spans Sheppard Run on Route 770 (W. Warren Run Road), west of the village of Custer City. It carries an average of almost 1,500 vehicles daily.

Construction is expected to start in August, with the closure of the bridge. During construction, drivers will be directed to a detour along Route 219 (South Avenue) and Route 59 (Mt. Alton Road). Work is expected to be complete by early September.
