August 28, 2018

The bridge replacement project that began on Tuesday, June 5, and was expected to be completed at the end of August, has been delayed due to weather delays and flooding. The project is now anticipated to be completed before September 14.

Drivers will still be directed to follow a detour along Route 1004 (Corner Stone Road), Route 160 (Huckleberry Highway), Route 1006 (Causeway Drive), and Route 1001 (Bridge Street).

In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.

This bridge is referred to as JV-350 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
