Nighttime Closure on Luzerne County Bridge Project

The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, currently underway on SR 8005 E Ramp over I-80 WB in Butler Township, will close for nighttime demolition work.

The bridge will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Wednesday, July 20. Drivers will be detoured to I-81 NB, SR 3007 and SB I-81. During this time, crews will be saw-cutting the bridge deck.

In the event of unforeseen construction activities or unfavorable weather this schedule may change.
