Motorists should expect a single left lane closure on PA 33 southbound, between Hecktown Road and William Penn Highway, on Wednesday, May 23 from 9 AM to 3 PM as construction begins to wrap up for replacement of the bridge carrying PA 33 South over US 22 in Bethlehem Township, Northampton County.

The bridge, which is part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, is anticipated to be completed in June.  When the PA 33 South bridge is complete, work will begin on the bridge carrying PA 33 North over US 22 in Bethlehem Township.
Schedules are subject to change.
