The bridge carrying Pumping Station Road (State Route 2015) over the West Branch of Octoraro Creek in Colerain Township, Lancaster County, will close on Monday, October 1, for restoration and paving work.  During the bridge closing, drivers will be directed to follow a detour along Route 372 (Valley Road) and Route 472 (Kirkwood Pike).

The bridge should reopen in late October. This bridge was replaced in December 2017 as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT’s) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.

This bridge is referred to as JV-277 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
