June 10, 2015

The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project will get under way in Butler County next week with the closure of the SR 2007 bridge over Bull Creek in Clinton Township.

Drivers can expect to see the bridge closed sometime in the morning on Monday, June 15, though the closure could actually occur later in the week due to permitting issues. Once the bridge closes all SR 2007 traffic will be detoured to SR 228, SR 2011, SR 1031, SR 1028 and SR 1013. The detour is expected to be in place until mid-September.

The SR 2007 bridge is the first of four bridges to be replaced in Butler County this year. Another seven Butler County bridges will be replaced in 2016 and 2017.
