The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project has been underway in Bradford County with the reconstruction of a bridge in Stevens Township. The state-owned bridge (JV-98) is located on Route 706, spanning Ross Creek.

Reconstruction of this bridge began in March and is expected to be complete in August. In-order for crews to complete asphalt work on the bridge approach, Ford Street (State Route 1011) will be closed for three days during the week of July 25. During the closure, a detour will be in place using State Route 706 and State Route 467 and East Street (State Route 1026). During the closure of Ford Street, State Route 706 will remain open.

In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
