Traffic Switched on Tioga County Bridge

Crews switched traffic onto the other half of the State Route 49 bridge (JV-128) in Tioga County, Westfield Township last night.

This bridge is located on State Route 49 (E Main Street), spanning California Brook. Construction began in June and is expected to be complete in early November.

During construction, alternating bi-directional traffic is controlled by temporary signals. The bridge carries an average of 3,832 vehicles per day.
