The construction joint venture team for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Project – Walsh/Granite JV - is giving back to the Food Bank of State College Area Inc. and local Marine Toys for Tots Foundation this holiday season.
Walsh/Granite JV has donated $558 worth of toys and food – one dollar for every bridge being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. Project staff worked to match that donation amount with personal contributions, totaling nearly 50 items for each organization.
“It’s important to our project team that we give back to the State College community,” said Curt Beveridge, Bridge Project Manager for Walsh/Granite JV. “We hope our contributions to these local organizations will enhance the holiday season for several local families.”
With project offices in Pittsburgh, State College, Harrisburg and Allentown and 558 bridge projects in 66 counties, Walsh/Granite JV is dedicated to aid charitable organizations in the various communities in which they work.
