The community is invited to review plans regarding the replacement of two York County bridges included in the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. The plans display will provide important information including the construction schedule and traffic changes that are planned to take effect while the bridges are being replaced.
Route 124 (East Prospect Road) bridge, spanning Kreutz Creek in Windsor and Lower Windsor Townships (JV-295)
During construction, an alternating traffic pattern will be controlled by temporary traffic signals.
Route 425 (New Bridgeville Road) bridge, spanning Fishing Creek in Chanceford and Lower Windsor Townships (JV-297)
During construction, drivers will be directed to follow a detour along Richmond Road (Route 2035) and Burkholder Road (Route 2014).

A letter announcing the start of construction will be mailed out two weeks in advance to all project stakeholders. You will be given the opportunity to sign up as a project stakeholder during the plans display period.
These bridges are referred to as JV-295, 297 and are two out of 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
