Construction Postponed on Noblestown Road (Route 3048) Bridge in Collier Township

Construction for the Noblestown Road (Route 3048) bridge, spanning a tributary to Robinson Run in Collier Township, Allegheny County, has been postponed. It was previously scheduled to begin during the week of April 9. 
Construction is now expected to begin during the week of April 14 and be complete in late May. During this time, drivers will be directed to follow a detour along Noblestown Road (SR 3048), Nike Site Road (SR 3039 )and Greg Station Road (SR 3064). 

In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule maay change.  

This bridge is referred to as JV-441 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
