Construction is expected to begin during the week of September 3 and be complete in late October. During construction, drivers will be directed to follow a car detour along East Gaskill Avenue, 14th Street and Route 130 (Harrison Avenue). A truck detour will be implemented along Oakford Park Road (Route 4003), Business Route 66 (Sheridan Road) and Route 130 (Harrison Avenue).
In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
This bridge is referred to as JV-558 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
