Harrisburg, PA – The new bridge carrying Mount Tabor Road (State Route 4005) over Opossum Creek in Menallen Township, Adams County, that’s been closed to all traffic since late November for repairs, is now open to traffic.  The bridge was closed on Thursday, November 29, for repairs that were caused by recent flooding.  This bridge was fully replaced in August 2017 as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.

The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project is a public-private partnership (P3) between PennDOT and Plenary Walsh Keystone Partners (PWKP), under which PWKP will finance, design, replace, and maintain the bridges for 25 years.
