Hollidaysburg, PA – Construction for the Route 4019 (Bicycle Road) bridge, spanning Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) in Quemahoning Township, Somerset County, will require a 12 hour closure of US Route 30 for placement of the concrete deck.
US Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) will be closed in both directions near the bridge site starting Saturday, November 3, at 4 AM and will be closed until Saturday, at 4 PM. Sunday, November 4, would be used as a rain date.
Drivers will be directed to follow a detour along US Route 219 (Flight 93 Memorial Highway) and Route 281 (Stoystown Road).
US Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) may also be closed for other construction activities in the near future. Message Boards and signage will alert motorists of the future upcoming closures.
In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change.
This bridge is referred to as JV-357 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. JV references the joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project.
