Upon completion of construction at each site, Plenary Walsh Keystone Partners (PWKP) will be responsible for general maintenance activities for the different assets constructed as part of the project for periods varying from one year to 25-years. The team performing maintenance activities on behalf of PWKP during this period will be Walsh Infrastructure Management (WIM).
WIM will perform general maintenance activities such as, bridge inspections, deck washing, pavement repairs (up until about five years after construction is completed), and guiderail repairs. PennDOT will retain ownership of all of the structures and retain responsibility for maintenance activities such as removal of debris and roadkill, road sweeping, mowing and landscaping, roadway striping, snowplowing, and emergency incident response.
